definetly not. Italy was on the "bad" side of WW2, but then from Poland's point of view there were very few "good sides" in that war- we were invaded by our enemies then some of the enemies became our supposed allies, then our real allies betrayed us to our supposed allies who turned out not to be such allies after all... If you are confused- so is everybody.
Italy has not been a part of any of the occupying powers, and the few soldiers who passed through Poland behaved very well. there is a small cementery of Italian soldiers in Warsaw.
Poles actually like Italians. Some of that has to do with Polish emigres forming units in Italy in Napoleonic times. Long ago, but it still warms the heart.
"All Free Men Are Brothers". That was on the standards of the Vistula Regiment (formed in Lombardy)

Apart from the World War II experience, I don't think there has been any reason for there to be bad blood between the two countries. Poland and Germany, Poland and Russia, there has been continual conflict there over the centuries. Perhaps even Poland and Ukraine, although I'm going beyond my historical knowledge there.
Poland has usually been a victim, but when it was able, it was ready to join the aggressors to, as in the breakup of Chekoslovakia in the late 30's. (Every country in the world, I think, has been willing to participate in some agression or another when it had a chance).

There is probably some... Italy fought on the same side as Germany in World war II... and Poland was occupied by Germany and many Poles suffered a great deal.

Holy cows! i will provide you with very few. Germany and Japan had a treaty. They shared technologies. in case you seem on the Kawasaki Hien "Tony," its silhouette is amazingly such as the Messerschmitt Bf-109E. There are extra useful examples. Russia and Germany began the conflict with a %., dividing up Europe between both. Germany broke the %. and attacked Russia. Russia took the vast majority of the brunt of the conflict and killed the vast majority of Germany's perfect. Russia and Poland, Poland became meant to be Russia's contained in the %. with Germany. Stalin fought problematical on the Pottsdam Confernece to get Poland on the right of the conflict. Germany and France: they have a lengthy heritage of battling one yet another with France in various of circumstances dropping. The give up fireplace contract ending WW i became signed in a railway motor vehicle in France. It royally ticked Germany off that they'd lost the conflict and signed in that motor vehicle. even as Germany marched on France and Paris fell, Hitler insisted the French signal their contract in that similar motor vehicle. He then blew it up. Germany and the U.S.: The U.S. courted Germany even after Hitler's upward thrust to ability. Time mag made him "guy of the 12 months." Ford Motor business corporation continued progression machines in Germany even after both international places were formally at conflict with one yet another. FDR named his previous booze (Joseph Kennedy -- JFK's and Teddy's dad) source from the days of prohibition to be Ambassador, first to Germany and later to England. He'd gotten a touch "too pleasant" with the Nazis.

No. In fact, we had a little contact with Italy, so we didn't have a chance to fight or even quarrel...
