Congratulations, sounds like you've fallen victim to a browser hi-jacker, usually installed onto your computer on the sly via an ActiveX control on a dodgy website you (or just as likely any younger relatives who also use your computer) may have visited.

To get shot of the damn thing you'll need to download & install something like SPYBOT: SEARCH & DESTROY from http://www.safer-networking.org/ or ZONEALARM INTERNET SECURITY SUITE (14-day trial available) from http://www.zonelabs.com

Oh dear, I've had this before. These parasites eventually destroy your web browser, and as you may have noticed they take over your home page. System Restore is usually the only option, other than obtaining another web browser such as FireFox. Although I have never checked the registry, so if you go to Start>Run...> and type in regedit.exe, and search for all the web browser keys and see if you can find anything. Sorry if this has been of no use!

Sounds like you have spyware/adware redirecting your browser. I would recommend either downloading a freeware version of spyware removal or buying one.
