Im assuming you mean youve lost your curves and that uve gained weight around the tummy area thus giving you a straight look with no hip distinction? If so you need to take back control of the situation. Youve lost confidence and you need that back. The only way is to lose the weight youve gained. Dont think of it as a big obstacle just eat a healthy balanced diet and take it day by day.
I too gained weight in a year and instead of getting upset about it (i was very upset for a bit)and going on stupid diets that dont work, i decided to eat healthily and saved naughty food to one day a week. But only 1. It works! :) I also go to aerobic classess 3-5 days a week. That way its more enjoyable and a great way of meeting other women in your position. Start today, and within a week or two you will feel loads better. Its not impossible. Like i said, take it day by day, week by week. Good luck

Have yoghurt and bananas only, for at least a week.
I used this "diet" last summer and after 10 days I could easily fit into pants & skirts which I hadn`t been able to wear in years.

well i thought for a minute i was going to give you some really great advice but i can't think of anything to say except to watch your carb and sugar intake and exercise. and that is just a typical answer and that's not what you want to hear. but there is no miracle drug to take the weight off and keep it off. i know i have tried them all.. but thats the truth you have to change your eating habits and start moving.

Which is prescribed by mt doctor.I have lost 12 pounds in three weeks.
