I have just started getting these.are there hormones being released to cause this?if so -then why?

It's most probabely due to a lack of a hormon calld "Progesterone" ; take 300 mg magnesium daily, you can find it from your local pharmacy; drinking plenty of water and adding more fruit & vegetables to your diet helps....
See your gynocologist and take a "Progesterone, Estrogen" balance test, the signs are, Acne, Polysistic Ovaries, Headaches, bad mood, backache, painful breasts near menstruation, etc.

if you want to get rid of cramps and headaches i have a serioulsly good home remedy.... get a scarf and tie it tight aroudn your head for a day.. when the day is over take it off and go to sleep when you wake up i can garuntee that it will be gone!!

Not only headaches, but nausea and vomiting, and fatigue. Go see your doctor and if they don't help you, see another and another until you find someone that will help.
