I am currently expecting my 4th baby. My doctor changed my due date from May 25th to June 6th. I think she is wrong. I would only be 12 weeks pregnant (according to her) but I have already felt my baby move. My last pregnancy she also changed my due date 2 weeks. I gave birth to my daughter 2 weeks early and she weighed 8 pounds. (The biggest before her was 6 10.) I know when my period was and I know about when I concieved. (only had unprotected sex 1 day because we were ovulating). My question is... when did you feel your baby move for the first time after having more than 1 baby? Also do you think she could be wrong? Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks for the answers.

Just tell her what you think. You know your body better than she does. Every time I'm pregnant, I feel it sooner than the last, this time I felt it around 13 weeks the first time. I think I'm farther along than my due date and so did my ultrasound tech but my doctor didn't want to change my due date. Did you have an ultrasound?

You often feel your baby move sooner in other pregnancies than your first, because you know the feeling. It could also be gas, which is sometimes mistaken for movement. Due dates are always a guesstimation according to your lmp. They always change due dates with your ultrasounds according to the size of the baby, which always happened to me with every ultrasound. When you have your next, it may change again.
Most books say due dates are estimated. And only have an error of two week periods. So your due date could actually be anywhere in those two weeks. I wouldn't worry yourself with it. You know your body better than the doctors . Also, your date of conception may not be the date you had sex. Sperm can live inside the vagina for up to one week.

My mom had four children and she felt the babies early with the 3rd and 4th. It was as soon as 11weeks for her. I on the other hand am pregnant for the first time and also felt my babies early, but I think that is because I am expecting twins. It looks like the doctor still may be right because a lot of times if you already have had children you know what to feel for. Many times I felt little things in my stomach and wasn't sure, but those that are experienced can tell it right off!

I am also having my 4th. I am 27 weeks. I felt this one at 16 weeks. My first was around 20 weeks and my 2nd was around 18 weeks and my 3rd around 16 weeks. They have always been right on with the due dates. My 3rd came a week earliy. They never changed my due date though! Good luck and hope you have a wonderful pregnancy!

i felt my 3rd in my 15 th week. Did the doc change the date based on a ultersound? my doctor will only change the date if the ultersound shows a big diffrence in fetal age and size. I have had 2 kids pregnant with #3 i never had a due date change but, i have heard of some doctors doing that.

I am having my 4th baby and started feeling her move around 15 or 16 weeks. She could be wrong. I mean if you know exactly when you conceived then I would go with what you think. I know exactly when i conceived too and everything is corresponding with it perfectly. I dont see why she is just not sticking with the due date according to your period.

My Dr.s were always off by about a week or two, I knew when I got pregnant most of the time. I wouldn't worry about it, no matter your due date the baby will come when it is ready. But don't judge by size, with one of my biggest babies the Dr. said she would be OK, so I got induced 3 weeks early and she still had fluid in her lungs, so in this case size doesn't matter! LOL

my first baby was the only one who was born on the due date, i have 3 knids and trying for number 4 and i always felt the baby move soon i thought with number 2 and 3 because i knew what it was where with my 1st baby i didnt really know untill she was kicking. with my second babyhe was early but i just think she missed quessed the due date because i want sure of my due date and with #3 she moved my due date only because i was big for my date, ( duh maybe i was haveing a big baby) and i did eat alot, and he was on time. mothers know best i would say that you are right you would know better then her when you were due i would stick with your dates and just make sure your always ready the baby is the one who decides when he or she comming!

My second pregnancy I started feeling the baby move around 12 weeks, so she could be right. Once you get your ultrasound they should be able to give you exact dates and measurements.

Good Luck!
