I need to know the average selling price of DVDs each year from 1985 through 2005.

DVDs weren't invented until 1990 (even then, they weren't called DVDs yet) and DVD players and commercial discs weren't available for consumer purchase until they were released in Japan in 1996 (releases would span until they hit Australia in 1999). So what you really want is the average selling price of DVDs from 1996 to 2005.

Which is information I can't find, but I thought you might like to know anyways.

i first saw DVD's back around 96 then they were like 25 dollars and they have been going down. Now you can find a brand new DVD new release for 20 bucks or 19

there weren't any dvds in 1985. the earliest i think is 1998
