You struggle in writing too, but you have more time to think about it and make it right. Writing is just not as fast or immediate as speaking.
If you were reading something out loud that you have written, it would convey the same thing.

Not only is it easier to write because of the time to figure out what you want to say thing, but also because it gives the other person time to reflect on what you wrote and can get back to you when they are ready, whereas talking to them puts them on the spot for immediate response.
The thing that can be complicated about writing, however, is you might write something that the other person reads differently, so they sit and reflect on something you might not have meant to say. That might complicate the situation beyond what is necessary...believe me.

it is easier to express feelings in writing rather than words.
this is b'coz writing involves no eye contact or face to face communication & is lot easier. One might be nervous/afraid/shy to express feelings in words as the other person is staring right at u & this makes it more harder to express feelings in words.
writing feelings is much easier b'coz we feel more safe as the other person (reader) does not act immediately on it.

im also a person like you..i am better at putting my thoughts to writing rather than in words. its probably because we feel that we can better express ourselves thru what we write and that people don't understand us when we talk...

Because when you write it, you have time to think about it. When you are in front of them, it is very hard, because emotions can come into play.

I have the same problem!

you have longer to sit and think about it rather than carry on with a conversation and you can pause and think about what you want to really say
