Yes during the first world war I was a pilot in the newly formed flying corp.

I was the oldest pilot in the corp at 47yrs of age, which meant my experience gained during the Boar War made me a good fellow worth talking to by all the youngsters in the corp.

I was shot down several times from a height of 10000 feet, please remember we did not have any parachutes in those days so life was tough.

Must go now I am currently training as a test pilot for the red arrows.

Bye.

In Sussex there's an open air museum with houses that have been moved from other sites. One is a 15th century house that had been "modernised" in the 17th century. They didn't know how to restore it so they did one half 15th century (no chimney) and one half 17th century.
By the time I'd got to the 17th century bit, I was tired so I sat down in front of the fire opposite a man I had presumed worked for the museum. I said that it was interesting the way the house had been restored part 15th and part 17th century. He complained that it was neither one thing nor the other. Then my wife arrived and asked who I was talking to. The man and the fire had disappeared.

My mum and my sister were walking in the woods last year when they heard some drumming. The walked to the clearing and in the field next to the woods there was a MAHOUSIVE tent. (the size of a palace- their words.) then they walked along with out sayin anything to one another about it. It dissapeared before their eyes along with the drumming. The dog ran away, and they got scared so ran away too! (may have been ghosts?)
