can anyone tell me how to copy a downloaded audio book onto a cd-r, the file is always too big What do i have to have, or do, to shrink it to fit?

The file you have downloaded is most likely an MP3. When you write it to a disc try and write it as a data disc rather than music. Use Nero (if you have it) or look for settings on your computer that will allow you to write a data disc. This disc once written will only play on a machine that recognises MP3s. A DVD player should play it back through your TV for you.

you can't do anything about it, if you are going to listen to it on a normal Cd player, then you have to break it up into pieces. not sure how to do that though.

if you buy a Cd player that will play mp3s then you probably will be able to put the whole book on the disc.

You'll need to use multiple discs, unless your player will play MP3's in which case you can convert them
