Why not? It can be served as a "side dish" next to the turkey and just eaten in smaller servings. It's not traditional, but if people will enjoy it, I say bon appetite!

There isn't anything wrong with adding lasagna on thanksgiving. Just adds to options. But I come from a family that has collard greens, neckbones and white beans at a memorial day cookout. I am making one also, but for the next day(or saturday) to go with leftovers when we gather again, unless someone takes it out the freezer while i'm not there.

Lasagna is great, you put it in the oven and let it bake until done.
No extra tasks to do. The only reason the Pilgrims had turkey and deer/venison is because that was all they found. I am sure that they would have chosen lasagna; I know I would have.
Clean up is easier, lasagna is great (and can be vegetarian), and the leftovers are easier to put away.

If you make a veggie lasagna it would be a wonderful side dish. Try eggplant as a substitute for meat. In my case due to dietary restrictions I use eggplant instead of pasta with ground turkey. I use low fat cheeses and no added fat, but trust me it tastes delcious. My son, who does not like veggies, loves it.

Every dish is a good dish for Thanksgiving. You can never have enough food or the wrong food. :-)

It is a little filling to put in with the other menu items.
You can always prepare it ahead of time (TODAY) and freeze it, then send it home with them.
