You could try speech therapy, this would help but in the mean time congratulations on your successful implant! Try to enjoy having your hearing back instead of worrying about whether people will understand you. If your speech is 60% clear that is clear enough for people to be able to understand you. You just need to build up your confidence and the only way to do that is to talk to people lots and lots. Good luck hon xx

Short and sweet - Firstly, on learning to talk correctly, it sounds like you just need to take some time in private or with someone you trust to talk slooowly and accuratly. Don't worry about quickly for now, as the point of slooowly is to get all of the muscles required for speech to be accurate to your intent. There is an old saying in neurology that goes "Neuron's that fire together wire together", meaning that if you practice your speech slowly and accuratly to show yourself you are talking correctly, you will be able to speed up with confidence in no time. Just like a new guy on the job, at first you're still trying to find out where everything is. After a few months of working the job, though, and you got your system down pat and can produce "wigets" at an alarming rate.
As far as worring about what other think, don't. Who cares...for the most part any problem they have with you is seeded in their own inadequates, everyone is on their own head trip and some peoples heads are more screwed up then your think, just worry about yours :) and any problem someone has with your difficulties, it's THEIR problem. Good luck!

Are you in college or do you work? If you're in college, I would suggest joining some clubs that interest you. then, you will be able to meet people and talk to them in a relaxed environment. from there you can build up your confidence. also, if it doesnt work out - just stop going to that club's meeting and try another one!!
If you work, then maybe you can also join some sort of club based on your interests. For example, there are a lot of hiking clubs and religious groups. That way, you will be more focused on the activity and you will naturally start talking to people.
good luck =)

If your worried about it get some of those kids tongue twister books to help with your speech. Those books helped me when I had a problem. Then when you start seeing a improvement your confidence will start to improve. Then ask the lady at the libraray on a book on how to be more confident.

congrats on your hearing improvement...practice saying words each day and do your best, people will understand you are working on your speech and if they act stupid, then that is their problem not yours...
i am glad you are working on this and it will be great i know it is hard, but i know you can do it with practice
