The email that you get does not actually use memory. It will be the program that you are using to view the email that uses the memory. The email will either take up space on the email or "exchange" server or on your hard drive if you have it set up to downlond it to your hard drive. If you are using hotmail, yahoo, gmail or another online mail service, these will also not use memory, but the program that you use to view them will, such as IE or Firefox or Thunderbird.

No, not your memory, but your hard drive space. I wouldn't worry about using up too much hard drive space with emails though, they are relatively small files, unless they have attached photos or other large files. Even then, it would take a huge amount to fill up most hard drives.

If you use web-mail, messages are not stored on your computer. If you use, Outllok, Outlook Express, Incredimail or others, messages are downloaded to your computer, saving space (and money, sometimes) on the ISP's server.

If you are using a ervice like yahoo or msn it shouldn't be takig up storage on your PC. Their servers store the information.
