I was just listening to the radio and a man said that he voted for our Governor (a known liar) even though he lies because ALL politicians lie to get elected. I was stunned people thought that.
Do YOU think they ALL do?

You must be talking about the governor of Wisconsin, "Diamond" Jim Doyle, I also heard that on Jay Weber. I hope "Diamond" Jim has to finish his term in prison!

I honestly still believe not all of them lie.Maybe that's because I'm ,a gullible liberal to some.
I think politicians lie and are honest just as much as other people but the thing is they should be the best and brightest in every field and as such have more integrity than the rest of us.Sadly this isn't the case,politicians come in all shapes and sizes,they're in my opinion not worse as others but they should be better and they're not.
To get elected it's not a question of being honest for example.To look good on camera,being able to sell yourself,sounding honest(which is absolutely not the same as being honest),that are the qualities that get you elected

Yeah, I believe that ALL politicians lie... even if just to a small degree... to get elected... That's why I vote for non-politicians whenever I get the chance. I was one of the 12% of Texans who voted for Kinky Friedman for Governor. MAN! I wish he'd gotten it!! Rick Perry = GAAG!

Yes, I think that at some time or other, ALL politicians lie. And it's something that crosses all party lines and all prisms of the political spectrum.

They probably do because of the perks that come with the office.
I few green naive liberals try to be blatantly honest,but they usually get crushed by career politicians!
