Well i am from Louisiana and so is my husband who is a redneck they are not stupid or jackasses. They marry because of the same reasons as anyone else. Love , companionship etc.... Actually some of the smartest people i know are rednecks they are just different and yes usually lots of fun this was a really put down question. think before you type.

Quite an odd question.
I'm sure it's a possibility, but I've never personally known anyone who's done that....
They might also just be looking for something outside their genre...not necessarily the gene pool.
