All the time! This always makes me think of things like the movie 'The Postman' or 'The Stand' among others....while technology is totally fabulous, we still need that human connection to function. I wholeheartedly believe that.

Aside from that, I'm also a person who craves simplicity, really. Like when I go on vacation, I do not wanna be bothered by the real world; when I went to North Carolina one year for a week straight, we couldn't get a cell phone signal at the cabin we were staying in, we had to go into town for that ~ I loved it! I'm a total nature girl at heart, I love camping(I was a Girl Scout for eight years), and I wanna get back to basics whenever I get the chance!

Absolutely! The hunk of junk I'm typing this on breaks down at least once a month, and yet somehow I'm supposed to just accept that my bank, the store, all my college classes, and even voting machines can run perfectly using the same technology? I don't think so!

Yes, because basically with the exception of the alarm clock, I'd be lost if it ever went away.

I wonder about that all the time. Like banks and their computers. How can we really trust that?

yes, often it does. Machines are NOT fool proof, they are only as good as the person running/maintaining them.
