I think so.
I have heard of studies of how different colors affect emotions and emotional responses.
The study I remember was done on prisoners.
There could be an effect on mental acuity as well that could help some players to not make the mental errors that they do during a game.

Light colored jerseys allow the player to have a lower body temperature than dark ones. I would imagine the difference is not that great though.

Are you serious? No. Well maybe, if you are like bright orange or lime green then maybe it will distract the other team.
