The feelings you are experiencing are completely normal. They could be Braxton-Hicks contractions or it could just be all your parts moving around down there (bones, ligaments, muscles, etc.) to get ready for birth. Unless you are in *severe* pain, you're most likely OK.

Your OBGYN is the best source of information, though, as he or she knows you personally and can offer the best advice.

I lifted heavy boxes the day my youngest daughter was born. When I did, it separated the placenta from the wall of my uterus. I noticed it kind if pulled, but, later that night at 2:00 AM, My water broke, and out came lots of blood. It was mixed with the placenta, but I didn't know, so I was scared to death. I went to the hospital and my beautiful daughter was born two hours later. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I had both of my daughters. Congratulations, by the way... Call your doctor and be prepared for an early birth. All women do not carry babies for 9 months. It varies. Good Luck!

You're probably experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions, mini contractions that warm your body up for the "real" ones. Normally, baby's don't turn until the 34-36th week and they drop (and head becomes engaged) sometime after that. Much luck to you and your baby!

Braxton hicks and the pressure could be that the baby has droped into postion and/or turn down that way (getting ready for birth but dont worry this does mean anyday now u still have weeks left)

If you are at all unsure you should always check with your midwife. Lot's of hospitals have a maternity triage which you can call with any questions even if they seem silly. It's more than likely that these are just braxton hicks but you'll always feel better having spoken to a professional.

That sound like Braxton - Hicks, my wife had them from about 28 weeks onwards, apparently it pretty normal. It's like doing warm ups and streatches before the big day.
Good luck and Congrat's.
