I know it's normal to have pain this late in pregnancy with all the pressure (baby is head down and cervix is thinning...), but any suggestions? I have sharp pains in my inner-upper thighs that I would describe like pulling a groin muscle and it makes it almost unbearable to even stand. Also really sharp pains inside near "that area." As normal as this is supposed to be... any suggestions on how to help with this? Sitting 24/7 isn't an option... I have a busy three year old. Just wondering... thanks!

Try a hot bath, or a heating bad and rest as much as possible. you could be in early stages of labor. That was my first sign with my oldest son who is now 6. I couldnt walk so i went into the labor and delivery to be checked out and 2 days later i had my son. Hang in there and try to stay as comfortable as possible, try different positions and let your 3 year old watch more cartoons lol i know thats tough i have a 3 year old at home too so i know how busy they can be. Try giving him a snack while you lay on the couch and watch cartoons with him. Read him stories. Let him play with playdoh. Try to take care of yourself and get through the day but watch out for other signs of labor and be ready to go when need be!!! GOODLUCK!!!! :)

I understand compleatly, i am 35 weeks preggy with a 3 year old daughter who is extreamly active. I have been suffering from those types of pains since about 30 weeks, All that worked for me was a heating pad under my butt, I was told you can take tylonal for it, but i got nervous taking pills while preggy so i never did it. It may sound funny, but i have also noticed that when it gets really bad sitting on the tolet makes the pain "bearable."

I had the same problem...luckily it was my first child and I didn't have to run after another child. I was on bed rest my last 4 weeks because I couldn't wlk because of the groin pulls. I alternated a heating pad and a ice pack in the groin area

I never had that but I had pressure every time I would bend over. Picking up toys was hard. Try to relax when ever you can. Make sure your child takes a nap so you can lay down. good luck and wish you the best!

When you are sitting or laying try putting a pillow in between your legs to relieve the pressure from the baby being so close to delivery.
