what matters to the French is that regardless of religion or cultural heritage...as long as you speak french and profess loyalty to France. As far as Islam is concerned , he really hasn't made that much of a diffrence! Sorry to say!

How could he, when he acknowledges being ethnically a Muslim but not religiously a Muslim. So he's not a spokesperson or a representative of Islam, he's just a man.

welll by da luks of it......
zidane is a gr8 celebrity and ppl luve him...
seeing his love for islam ppl wuld understand tht for islam ppl have alot of luve .....
he gave up the final mattch of his carear and even the worldcup
but he jus slammed his head in his chest and got a red card.......
but stiill da ppl love him...so it has softened image of islam in euro
