Just curious as it seems that EVERYONE is getting their degree in teaching. I am worried that there will be NO jobs available when i am done with school..any thoughts?

i dont get it if EVERYONE is getting their degree in teaching doesnt that mean that in other places will be more space availible ?

Not if you are willing to move.
In 1999 there were close to 1000 applicants for every elementary opening on Long Island, New York. In the Poconos, PA there were 400+. At the same time, Hawaii and Las Vegas were actively recruiting and even willing to pay some moving expenses with a 2-3 year commitment.
Consider a dual major in special education as well as elementary. It will make you more attractive and better prepare you for inclusive classrooms.
