For a few days on my work computer I had the ability to do tabbed browsing with Explorer 6.0 (like Mozilla Firefox has). Now it's gone. How can I get it back? Anyone know? (ps--I had the ability after someone else used my computer--they don't know how they changed the settings, so they're no help). Thank you!

No. Download Explorer 7, Opera, or Firefox to use tabbed browsing.

No, not on IE6. Microsoft first gave the tabbed browsing to the IE 7 Beta 2 and may give to future versions.

No, I don't think you can, I know you can with Explorer 7 though, but when I downloaded IE 7 it started messing with my programs, I couldn't save anything or burn CD's, I had to delete it and I went back to IE 6. Not a fan of FireFox myself but I hear it's really good, and allows tabbed browsing.(I am used to IE, and adjusting to FireFox isn't easy for me, so I stick with IE even though it is so stupid at times.)

Not generically, only by opening a new browser window. A new 'selling point' of Internet Explorer 7.0 (most likely to fit in with the Vista environment!).

the new internet explorer will have tabs on it... firefox so muc better... u get less annoyin popups, better security and all the features that microsoft are to slow to stick in!
