Generally, changing the ram in a laptop PC is easy enough to do. Changing the CPU or the graphics card is more difficult and often requires changing the entire motherboard (if the graphics card is integrated on the board).
If you have low amount of RAM in the laptop (256MB example), you may want to see if an upgrade is available. Otherwise, you have to determine if the additional cost of replacing a component is going to be worth the benefits you get from it.

Yes, it will. It will make your computer alot faster. Your games wont lag as much if they do that now. It will also help with muti tasking. It is cheap and real easy to do. Find out if you have an open slot for more Ram, and find out what size you can get. You can find this out by callin your computers tech support line. For instance i have an HP and i have 1gb of ram rigth now, but have a free slot for up to 1gb of ram. I will be upgrading shortly.

Honestly.. the answer is NO..
cause no matter wat laptop is not for gaming purpose..
but it will improve a bit in gaming..
but no matter wat, if you buy a laptop at RM10,000 u will still loose to a normal computer... and the most important is your graphic card.
