After my ex and I got over the intitial shock of "we never officially broke up with each other" (we dated 17 years ago and remet via the internet 8 months ago,,, he lives on the other side of the country from me) we've talked on the phone. We've begun sharing our thoughts on life, and music which we have some things in common. I am married, he's been trying to pursue a relationship with the mother of his children. We may never see one another again. But I enjoy talking to him.... (sighs)

then talk to him maybe this is what was meant to be you two being friends and helping each other out with your problems it is good to have someone that you cant talk to that knows you and how you really are so yall can help each other in the best of ways

I would think he could be your friend. You know each other very well and as you said may never see each other again.

of coruse he can be a bestfriend. but remeber (if you are married) that there are boudries and i think that he should know that.
