I kind of get the drift...........but it's kind of difficult at the same time. Were they best friends? And then finally he decides to come to her in the end?
What does she mean by..."it's not the way I hoped, or how I planned, but somehow it's enough..."?

I've always thought the same thing as you, as far as the line in question, maybe it's because she had hoped that there would have been some miraculous discovery that he loved her all along but never realized it instead of it just sneaking up on him.

i'm no longer completely particular. i recognize Shinedown makes a music referred to as "shop Me" however the sole singer in the band is Brent Smith (male). additionally, regulate Bridge (male singer in basic terms) has a music referred to as "shop Me". Lacuna Coil (additionally with a woman singer) has a music referred to as "Veins of Glass" yet i think of they only sing "shop me" like once or twice.

personally, i think the song is thought-provoking... go through it again... imagine u lost someone that u love.. that person comes back.. u love that person to take him back.. and yet u cant because the trust is no longer there! empathize!
