Many years ago, when my daughter had just learned to walk, which exponentially increased my stress levels, she decided that she wanted to see the view from on top of our kitchen table. So she climbed up onto the chair, and then onto the table whereby she decided to stand right on the edge and look out the window and gesticulate wildy. She was oblivious to the fact that there was a force known as gravity, that directly behind her was a butcher block, and that if she moved even slightly backward her head would connect with the darn thing as she fell.

Seeing this, I ran into the dining room to try and grab her...so of course...she turned...and slipped...so I dove and caught her before her head smacked the butcher block...which was lucky for her...but bad for me...because in doing so I wrenched my pelvis completely out of alignment. It is the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced (and I've had a truck fall on my hand, had my hand burned at 500 degrees, and I've been married twice)...and rendered me immobile for over a week. Because of that...I am now weak in that area of my back and according to a chiropractor and an acupuncturist it's where all of my "stress" goes. And so over the years, it has gone out on me...causing severe pain and immovability. And during those times when dad has to pee into a bottle cause he can't get up...I often wonder if I should've just let her fall and hit the ground...and I realize that I took the pain on myself...so she wouldn't ever have to feel it.

How's this for nerdly: I spent so much time on the internet when I was a freshman in college that my participation on Y!A and 360 would be considered "intermittent" at best. Due to this I seriously messed up my wrist. I'm...well a dude...in the sense that I hate going to doctors so I never bothered having it checked out, especially since it seemed to have remarkably recovered from the injury (I don't believe it's carpal tunnel, it's something else like tendonitis). However, over the years the pain has come and gone. It's bothering me at the moment, actually. However some simple stretches generally clear up the problem and I figure all the doc is going to do is give me a cortisone shot or recommend surgery...neither of which I want.

The lower back discomfort sounds plenty greater in all probability to be a disc prolapse, it may be unusual for a spinal fracture, yet once you experienced one only from leaning forward that's achievable. Do you have osteoporosis - and if so are you on medicine for that? A pinched nerve is basically a prolapsed disc that presses on between the nerves because it leaves the spinal column, you may in many circumstances get pins and needles or altered sensation in an area of one leg. in spite of if that's a prolapsed disc that's inflicting no neurological indications the main suitable scientific care is to stay cellular and take painkillers. specific issues to word of comprise any weak spot on your legs or subject mobilising, or any loss of sensation in the two legs or around the anus. Any indications of incontinence or subject passing urine on a similar time as embarrassing are irritating indications, in case you improve any of the above you ought to bypass on your nearest A&E/ER for assessment. otherwise i'm specific your GP would be waiting that might assist you. with regard to the kidney function exams, that analyzing isn't fairly extreme, yet ought to be investigated to confirm what's inflicting it - lower back your GP can handle the main suitable thank you to try this. the sole ingredient i could point out is that some anti inflammatory drugs can influence the kidneys adversely, from what i be attentive to Naproxen (Naprosyn) will in many circumstances basically reason a quick upward push in creatinine ranges, yet i could recommend not taking it generally until you have seen your GP. keep away from different anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and Diclofenac entirely at recent. desire all is going properly!

OH, pick one! So far I've been brutally beaten, stabbed, shot, and even hit by a train! Oh yes- true story. December, 1986. I was helping my dad with this ginormous tree. It was impossible to work with. And why I was the one who had to be lying across the track, I'll never know. And he was just watching... from clear over there! It was all his fault! He still hasn't outgrown the phase.

Oh, yes, so anyways, I'm holding this monstrosity up with one hand while making adjustments with the other, and of course it's never perfect. Glass balls and canes are falling on my head and he decides to have a little fun by turning that stupid thing on! The train rams me right in the side, because of course, I had nowhere to go. Almost lost the damn thing, but he's havin the time of his life just laffin at me!

I still feel that twinge in my side every Christmas time.

I've broken my right ankle four times but that has nothing on the pain caused by a back injury. Everyone knows that you're not supposed to move an accident victim but did the idiot that moved me know that??? Apparently not. GGgrrrr.

Anyway, for me the back pain is the worst & I use heat therapy now along with physical therapy exercises & on really bad days I resort to the pain meds.

I sprained my ankle nearly two years ago pretty badly, and these days it still aches me when the weather turns. I just try to massage it a little and do some stretching. If it gets really bad, I have an elastic exercise band that I use sometimes. I'm just glad I didn't get any more injured than I already am, it's really the first serious injury I've ever had.

Being trampled by a horse when I was 15. My spine healed with arthritis in it. It bothers me to some degree every day. I exercise and try to stay fit, that is how I cope most days. When it gets too intense, I take Tylenol.

I broke my left ankle in pieces and I have 14 metal pieces and 2 metal bars on each side, so hurts alot when the weather is cold.
I have to take sleeping pills in order for me me not to feel the pain. This accident I had happened 18 yrs ago. Imagine, and it still hurts alot. Oh Well, what to do.

Had a herniated disc in my back and went mad with the horrible pain. Doctors kept saying "just a back ache". Had x-rays which showed nothing, but I kept persisting and finally an MRI showed the herniated disc. Finally, an operation, and phew!, everything worked out, and this was 5 years ago. Very lucky.

Motor accident on the highway in the year 2000. My back is killing me and at times the pain is just so unbearable. How do I cope? Well, when I stress less, the pain is less. So I try not to stress.

(There was a turkey on the accident scene who stood by me until my pig arrived... LOL!!)
