Why is it when one comes out of the closet they all start coming out of the closet? I am not being insensitive honestly just curious.
First it was Lance Bass, Now Doogie, how many thing that Lance Armtrong and Matthew Mconagh have something other than.

Again as I had mentioned I am not being mean towards people that are not straight. I am straight and have a gay cousin. I have nothing against anyones sexual preferance that is what makes us unique. I am just curios. Please don't take my question as and attack towards the gay community.

Truth be told there are many gay or bi entertainers who are closeted about there personal lives. I'm glad that Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser) felt comfrontable enough to come out to the public, I think it's about time that we stop hiding. Especially, those masculine "straight acting" men who you wouldn't think was homosexual. I feel there's nothing for them to feel ashamed about because they are still men. And by them coming out they don't know who they are helping. Once I learned that my cousin was out that's when I came out a month later, even though I have a couple of cousins who were already out as lesbians, I'm the only gay male that I know of in the family. I was scared to come out because family talks bad about them behind there back and they probably talking about me too but so what.

It is "unusual" that they all come out at (or around) the same time. But maybe the feel comfortable doing it because others have. I honestly commend them, I know it must be really hard for people to do that, with all the ridicule, verbal attacks, and some probably are physical attacks..
I hate it to, I can't stand it when people make fun of someone because of their sexuality, I'd rather see a couple get married because they truly love each other than a straight couple do it for all the wrong reasons yet it's still right because they are straight. I can't stand hypocrites!

i'm with summer season S. i thought i substitute into the only one that fluctuate into surpried by utilising this. I used to love staring at him on Doogie Howser while i substitute right into a toddler. Him and Fred Savage have been my first 2 "television" crushes. Oh nicely, a minimum of he's happy.

For some reason, I think I already knew about Doogie ... maybe a hunch or possibly it was already announced a few years back.
As far as Matthew ... I sure do hope so !! I wouldn't mind watching him play his bongo's in the buff !

One person tests the water, and if it's safe they all come out. Kinda like doing cannon balls off of a waterfall. One person jumps off and if they survive, the others jump too. This time it's just as risky.

NPH has been out for a long time. It's just that he was out of the public eye, and the general public had no idea he's gay.

Because the media often forces celebrities out. it;s easier for them to tell people than someone else throwing accusations out against them.
