Happy Thanksgiving cindya! I just saw this recipe on "Food Network". Although it was served as a side-dish, it sounded "yummy" enough to be a dessert. OK here goes: Whipped Sweet Potatoes and Bananas with Honey Recipe courtesy Tyler Florence
You can roast the potatoes and bananas ahead of time, then put it all together just before serving. Then heat it up in the oven.
10 medium sweet potatoes, scrubbed
4 bananas, unpeeled
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/3 cup honey
Kosher salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Prick the sweet potatoes all over with a fork, put them in a roasting pan and roast for 30 minutes. Toss the bananas into the pan and continue roasting for 10 to 15 minutes, until both the bananas and potatoes are very soft. Remove the pan from the oven but don't turn the oven off.
When the potatoes are cool enough to handle, scoop out the flesh into a large mixing bowl. Peel the bananas and add them to the bowl along with 1 stick of the butter, and the honey. Season with salt and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon until everything's well combined and the mixture is fluffy. Spoon into an oven-proof serving bowl and smooth the top.
In a separate mixing bowl, use your fingers to rub together the remaining stick of butter, the brown sugar, flour, and pecans until the mixture is the consistency of coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the sweet potatoes and return to the oven. Cook for about 20 minutes, until the crumbs are golden. Serve hot.
XOXO Moonpie P.S. I know you said "quick-n-easy" with pumpkin, but when I saw him making it...my mouth was watering! LOL

Soft Pumpkin cookies. I make them for my customers at my work and they are now famous people come from all over the city for these cookies. here is the link (I also add instead of the maple extract I add Almond it is sooooo good)
Soft Pumpkin Cookies
1 (16 ounces) can pumpkin, 2 cups
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup (8 ounces) butter, softened
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon maple extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs
1 cup pecan halves
Into a large mixing bowl, measure all ingredients except pecans. With hand held mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until blended, scraping bowl occasionally. Increase mixer speed to medium and beat for 1 minute longer.
Preheat oven to 350°. Using 2 tablespoons of batter for each cookie, spoon batter into mounds on ungreased baking sheets, keeping mounds about 2 inches apart. Press a pecan half into the center of each cookie dough mound. Bake cookies for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Loosen cookies with spatula and move to wire rack to cool. Store in tightly covered container for up to 4 days. Freeze in portions, if desired.
Makes 6 to 7 dozen cookies.

it relatively is not that unique, yet is quite ordinary and looks extrememly stylish while performed! Bake a chocolate cake in 2 8" circle cake pans. Then soften some chocolate and butter and a few cream on the range. Pour a number of your melted chocolate on the 1st cake and then positioned the 2nd cake on suitable. Pour something of the chocolate over and suitable with some cherries or strawberries, or slivered almonds. in case you have chose some greater beneficial style which includes your chocolate...upload some Nutella or a Tbsp of espresso...it won't style like espresso it is going to easily develop the chocolate style! stable success and happy baking!

All fruits are fresh vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which is employed for food.

In the superstore, fruits are usually selected much too soon. Some are rocks, many are wrong. Some of the fresh vegetables are typical right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.
