Married woman: when or what makes you think about cheating your husband?

The most common answer to why spouses cheat is that something is wrong in the marriage and the affair is a bi-product of those problems, even when most other aspects of the relationship are working well. “The problem” is often one that the faithful spouse who would never think of cheating does not see or has elected to ignore for one reason or another. Other times, the marriage has changed and evolved in a way that leaves the cheating husband or cheating wife feeling left out or somehow empty. Those changes may include a shift in attitudes toward one another and the problems ensue. When a spouse feels that his or her needs are not being met, some turn to their work, others to drugs or alcohol and many to the arms of another man or woman. Although this appears to be the most common cause, there are others who engage in an affair or infidelity purely for the sex. They do not want their relationship to end, they simply seek the thrill that being with someone else brings. Either way, the pain, humiliation and betrayal are the same.

There have been a lot of things that has happened with us that most any other women would probably cheat on their husbands. But not me, as I see it, two wrongs do not make a right. And also the fact that I do not believe in cheating in the first place. So IF it ever got to that point, before I would cheat on him, I would get a divorce from him first.

Been married, would not cheat. If I am thinking about cheating, my next thought would be obviously I need a divorce. If I was thinking about other men or leaving him its probably because the marriage is bad and he has stopped trying to make it work.

Nothing makes me think about cheating on my husband. I look at other men, that's normal. But cheating doesn't come into play. I love my husband and wouldn't jeopardize what we have together for a lay.

When he talks down to me like a dog. When he sits on his butt zoned out on the TV show. When he doesn't pull his weight about the house with the work/chores.

But, marriage is a two way street. During these times, I take a deep breathe and open my mouth and express my feelings to him. 9 times out of 10 he doesn't even realize what he has done.

Don't jump into cheating as a way to get even or get attention!

Not married so this isn't an issue for me! I never understand why people feel they have to cheat. You either want to be with your spouse or you don't. If you feel you must cheat, then just get out of the relationship!

I never thought I'd be in a situation of cheating, but I almost did! It was because I was not getting the attention(emotional, sexual) that I needed from my husband. It felt nice to have someone pay attention to me, but luckily I came to my senses before anything happened.

Ummm, well, I met an old bf on line and I loved him more than my husband.

I should elaborate that my husband live two very different lives, and no my needs aren't getting met. We tend to shut each other out. Thers been a lack of communication for a lot of years.

when a person is thinking of cheating on their spouse then their is something going on that one person is not getting what they want from the other one ........men say they cheat because their wife don't understand them well wife's feel the same about their husbands or they would not go looking some where else so to me ask yourself what are you not giving to your wife if she is looking to cheat........or ask your wife what she needs so she wont cheat on you.........i hope that helps

naww just kidding! I never cheated on my cheating husband who i am so faithful to.
The day that i will see other men is when i ever come to reality and realize that I'm not good enough for him anymore....and eventually leave him i guess.
