I suspect many of us do, more than will ever admit it. It was only during an extreme medical situation, when I was 18, that I ever thought of it. I was faced with a second round of neurosurgery which could either set me on the road to recovery, or totally paralyze me. At the time, I knew I would have to do something before being totally paralyzed, because how could I have done it afterward? Gratefully, I didn't act on the impulse because, against all odds, I finally recovered enough to live a normal life. Quite frankly, it would have been far easier to just let go and be done with life, but I would have missed so much if I had given in and done it. I'm so grateful I am still here and enjoying the richness of life and new experiences. In the end, it requires great personal courage to get through it.

NO WAY. It's not worth it. That's the way life is though sometimes. It can be very hard. I would never ever think about doing that because i want to see my kids grow up, finish school, go to college, get married and have kids. And besides i wanna have a long happy life.

Yes, I even tried it once...but it was a no go! It just wasn't my time to go! Then i went to therapy...divorced my crazy husband...and started living life! Death isn't the answer..you just gotta figure out what is! Don't take the coward's path out of life...LIVE!

Sure. I find solace in the fact that on the bright side there's always suicide.

Yes but I would never do it. I have been through a lot and my life is not easy but I wouldn't kill myself to get out of it.

Yes, but it is only a thought. My life is a strange gift and I will not destroy it.

As a friend once said, "You can always kill yourself tomorrow. Give today a chance".
