It's a universal human trait. I don't think happiness actually exists...there is just moments of satisfaction where we look at life ahead and we have alot of things to look forward to. Problems are inevitable, so all we have is optimisim and the hope that something better will happen tomorow or the day after. You can be found though. You can choose religion, find a passion, or just do what you really want to do without worrying about what you should be doing.

I totally agree with feeling lost in life, but not really so much about the light to happiness.

I feel lost almost everyday. Why does it seem like you can't ever get to the happiness? And why does it seem like on those days everyone else you bump into is happy? Then you wonder why aren't you.

Yes I have but I know that there is happiness in the world and that most times its the choices we make that cause us to be unhappy. Most people dont want to accept the reality of this because its harsh but, when you look at your life and the choices you've made youwill realize what I've said is true. The thing is to make better choices in life and be more aware of the bad ones.

Yes Tromeo, everyone feels lost sometimes
I am sorry to say it but everyone is, or has been lost in some piont of thier life. You feel so sad, maybe not depressed but like you are missing a huge thing in your life but you just don't know what! A simple conclusion comes to well, maybe drugs will help me, or money will help me to feel better about life. If I could get together with a beautiful girl, or video games. Something has got to work! But you've tried everything, and it seems that nothing can fill that big Gap in your heart. And you just don't know why!
Yes everyone has been there! Everyone has experienced this "emptiness" that you feel. I was there once.
I was lost, so lost i could kill myself. So lost that i had turned to dugs and sex to make me feel better about myself. But somewhere along that brokenheartedness, someone introduced me to a savior. A savior named Jesus, who i learned was what i had been missing. He was the puzzle peice that put my heart back together. I learned that he suffered and bled for me because he loved me! He suffered on a cruel cross, so that we could be restored. Because people do bad things called sins, he was seperated from us because he is holy. That is why he died, he didn't have to, but he loved me and you, and died so that we could be his freinds and live in heaven with him. When Jesus came into my life i no longer felt lost, or alone, my savior had filled that emptiness that i had longed to fill. I tried drugs sex, money, you name it, but nothing could eternally fill my empty heart, maybe temperarily until the next morning when i would wake up with a hang over, but jesus is not temperary. Everyday i experience joy and happiness because i know i have a savior that loves me, and you too!
i guess in shorter words i am trying to say, everyone without the savior, everyone will experience emptiness, because he is the missing puzzle piece in all of our lives
I love you and extremly care about you, but yes in answer to your question yes i have felt empty before!
GOD BLESS!

Yes. I try not to think about but it's hard sometimes. Try gender confusion, talk about lost. I want a family and relationship with a women but no sex. I want sex with a man but no relationship with him. That's lost. Don't feel alone many of us are "lost".

It's part of life.
You have to be the one to turn the light on. You can't wait for someone else to do it for you.

Many many times. However if you are willing to turn your life and will over to the care of a higher power of your understanding, things will get better and you will find your way.
