Wasn't that the funniest friction between the two you've ever seen. Do you think that will tarnish Aiken's fame?

Where Kelly's point is well taken, she is being more than a bit of a drama queen over all of this and has made a mountain out of a mole-hill. He should not have put his hand over her mouth - no. But anyone that seen it could see it was just done playfully and he meant no disrespect. It was just a sign of his not being used to doing a show like that. It was a bit silly and immature, but she who is much older and much more professional (and should be acting as such) should have just brushed that off. She could have just made some small point - and got over it; but for her to make such a BIG stink over such a small gesture (her public messages after the show broadcast all over the place) is sooooooooooo ridiculous and makes me a bit queasy to the stomach to tell you the truth. Her behavior is just as unprofessional as his, and quite immature as well I might add. Of the two, she's behaved the worst. No..you should not put your hand over someones mouth...but...it was just a playful gesture - he CLEARLY meant no disrespect..he just did not know any better. She is acting like he forgot to bow to the queen or something. Shame on her. I don't even care that much for Clay Aiken myself, but I feel a little sorry for him in this instance...and she has lost any respect I ever had for her prior to this. Kelly needs to grow some humility..and understanding.

I saw it. Clay Aiken is such a loser!!!! He should NOT be famous at all. I would be scared to meet a fan of his...they must be seriously weird... I think he should not have covered her mouth like he did during the interview. There are better ways to let people know you'd like to ask a question.

Saw the tape. It may not kill his fame but it's sure going to slow down his invitations to guest host anything. He sure looked like an ameteur.

I saw it. What was up with Clay covering Kelly's mouth like that with his hand? She said she didn't know where that hand had been.

Nah. He was arguing with Kelly Rippa. That's not a big deal, really. If anything, it'll help him. She's a bit annoying, and her reaction to him showed everyone her true colors.

He does need to lose the 'girly' hairstyle, though.

I heard it on the radio. It reminded me how stupid people are. And how they can get upset over the smallest things. They need to grow up, in my opinion.
