I dont think I'll be taking advice from friends about courses anymore cause my courses suck! I could have signed up with much better courses.

That's life. Some classes and profs are good, some suck.

It could be the course, it could be the teacher or it could be the students, its a mixture. A class can be great one semester because of the combination and horrible the next. You and your friends definition of great could be different as well. You could have a different attitude because of outside forces this semester, people change and grow as do thier circumstances. Make the most of what you can, plan for the future courses you want to take. Ask others what they think but take responsibility for your own decisions and remember life changes.

Some courses you have to do for certain subjects as they are mandatory... sometimes they really suck and are difficult to pass.
The best thing would be if you next time inform yourself by checking for a course outline online or in written form at the students desk.
Also check out which professor is giving which lecture, this can make a big difference....

Those mandatory classes are sometimes a real pain but we have to take them. While in grad school, I always relied on www.pickaprof.com to select my professors. It costs 5 or 10 bucks but it is worth is. You dont only get feedback from your friends, but from other students who have taken the class. It also shows you the grade distribution e.g number of A's and B's the teacher awarded. Check out the website www.pickaprof.com
