How do I raise money for my parents' Christmas presents?

I want to buy my Dad a new watch (about $80) and my Mom a new Coach purse (about $250).

Thats a lot of money to raise in a short time...Try chores for family, friends and neighbours, a part time job (depending on you age of course) or running errands (only for people you know!)...;

You didn't say how old you are. If you are under 18, you may want to do extra chores around the house and help out neighbors. There may still be leaves to rake and gardens to clear out. If it snows where you live, pick up a shovel and get going.

If you are older than 18, and can get a job, this is the way to go. Many of the stores are hiring now and some offer discounts. Look in the want ads in your local paper.

I think your parents will be happy with whatever gifts you select for them. Remember, it's the thought that counts and don't go to extremes for the money.

Well, you probably need to get a cheaper purse for your mom. And what I do is save my money. It sounds easy but it isn't. Place it somewhere no one can find it. To earn some money try babysitting or doing chores. And ask neihbors if they need help w/ cleaning or something.
