No, I am afraid not. Satellite internet has a latency of at least 650 ms and that is a very fast connection. A slower cheaper connection will hover around 850ms upwards. That means every time you press a button it takes upward of 1/2 a second to get to the server. While you may get used to it, it will not work well with FPS. Other online games fare better, but FPS are the worst effected.

no because i used 2 have directway satellite internet and i asked dem by phone and they said it would run slow and freeze up

thats like 2.5mb speed so your stable guy. you will see lag nevertheless no lie. I certainly have approximately 7.4mb with 820kbs on upload and that i nevertheless see lag. Its only who you play with so only dont difficulty your stable.
