Different antidepressants work for different people and for different types and severities of depression/anxiety. I'm on Citalopram 20mg which helps me. It increases the release of seretonin in the brain and is not addictive like some are. Some also make people drowsy. You could also go down the route of alternative therapies. Get a consultation with a Chinese herbalist or try out St Johns Wort. I never went down this road but would be willing to give it a try. Have a chat with your GP if you'd rather try out one of the tablets available.

you ask any doctor if they would prescribe them to a close friend or relative and i bet most would say no.they are all hopeless and can lead to deeper depression.ive tried many different kinds but never really got better till i refused to use them any more.for some doctors dishing out prescriptions is the fastest and easiest way of getting through the day.

Different antidepressants work differently on different people.
You will have to talk to a shrink and try until you come up with the right one.
This process can take a while and is frustrating.
I wish you the best.

Why does anyone want pills, when you can get anti-depressents from the natrual world, it is known that 5 Brazil nuts can equate to one anti-depressent! go for that as you also get the much needed fats the body needs for glossy hair, nails and healthy skin!
