No, usually it's the other way around. I panic in some situations and say inappropriate things, then think about it later and figure out what I SHOULD have said. Every single time.

Yes, some times I think I know the right word in my subconscious but it requires too much effort to bring it to the front, so I can not say it in the moment

Yes. However, sometimes words do no justice to what really needs to be said.
"Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart."
Be blessed.

Exactly......yes......like right now....maybe sometime in the future I'll be able to do that. I like to say it's because I think in lyrics and pictures mostly, but I love words! I seem to be able to put them together better when I'm writing poetry rather than when I'm speaking or writing an email, for example.

It has happened to me a thousand times, but there was one time in particular where it was absolutely mortifying.
A friend of my Dad had just passed away, we were on our way to the funeral and I kept thinking, when I hug the widow I'm just going to say: I am sorry for your loss, whatever you need you can count on us, however, when I reached her and hugged her I blurted out: Congratulations! Have a great day!
I felt my stomach sink, but to my surprise she started laughing. It turned out that what I blurted out was what she needed to laugh a little.

Nah, I'm a walking thesaurus and (as I believe I've stated previously) also an asshole. There's nothing that I've wanted to say and haven't. I even made jokes about my dad's cancer when I found out he had it. I made them to him, to his face, the day after he was diagnosed. Ho ho ho.

On occasion. If I think before I speak, then I don't have that problem.Sometimes I really have to think out what to say and kind of "rehearse" it and then I'm fine.

I'm bound and gagged therefore can't say anything. I'm typing this with the power of thought.
