I voted to spite Blair but Livingstone turned out to be his plant.
Hoodwinked again.
London is still run by others and we are paying more and more.
His control over transport is nil except for collecting money.
His tram systems are developer's dreams come true.
Scroungers, con artists and liars, and they all hold office.
I've given up on this country.

Originally to spite Tony Blair and Labour. Second time round, I have no idea??? Hopefully they won't next time. Maybe the votes for the other candidates were split. I can't remember who I voted for, but I know I only voted for him because I thought he had a better chance of beating Ken than the other guy, but the other guy came second, so I was obviously wrong. Maybe everyone who wanted Ken out, had their votes split between the other two?

Londoners who vote for Ken Livingstone are instrumental in maintaining the checks and balances essential in a true democratic system of government.
Ken is broadband, surround sound, digital, an innovator and down-loader i.e he listens to what Londoners say.
New Labour is the antithesis; dial up, mono, VHS, up-loaders of knee jerk media histrionics. They listen selectively to what the Country want within their own dodgy agenda and then tell them what they are going to get.
You are very lucky , London.

Good question but i still havent worked out the answer to that myself. They must be people with more money than sense cos all Ken is good at doing is costing Londoners money.
Wev'e got the extended congestion charge to look forward to, bus fares set to go up again soon.
The olympics which is now gona cost us more money than they first predicted the 'price of one walnut whip' a week! is what we were told. YEH RIGHT! if you believe that you'll believe anything times that but 20 and u'll be closer to the real figure.
Who are the people that voted him in?? i'd like to see them!

Some people I knew did it for entertainment value and to be fair, he hasn't done too bad a job. I wish he hadn't evicted the pigeons from Trafalgar Square. That was just cruel but, yeah, London transport has improved somewhat, although we paid for it in congestion charges.

To annoy "Phoney Bliar" of course.
At least it was Londoners who voted for him and not the "new Labour" party poopers.
