He was back peddling, that was what he was doing. I think he should come out and say something like this: I like African Americans, I have a lot of friends that are all races and culture. I just do not like "N's". And, in my opinion, "N's" are people of African American origins that do nothing to help this world by selling drugs, killing, raping, robbing people and make real, hard working African Americans that I know feel ashamed that they have to represent-sadly-what other cultures think of that race. In my opinion, "N's" are just ignorant thugs who are good-for-nothing people who try to bring good people down.
If he came out with a statement like that, then, he would still be in hot water, but, not the way he is in it right now. Heck, he can even say the Chris Rock said himself that "N's" are people that he cannot stand. Because they are always trying to f'uck a good thing up.
If Michael Richards had said that, then, you would have people actually agree with him on that stance. But, he dug a big hole in it for himself.

I am tired of these politically correct people in this world but using racial slurs at any time is not cool

I didnt believe the apology at all. I think he's trying to save his reruns of Seinfeld so he can keep receiving his million dollar check every year. It's sad. I think he would have been better off saying he thought it was funny, than saying he just got too mad, because it shows that this is something that he keeps inside.

I saw him on Letterman and he seemed as though he was on drugs are somthing.

I would agree that it is too late for an apologize since I read that he ask to come back to the comedy store the next night and never apologized.

I really think it was a publicity stunt b/c not many people pay attention to actors/actresses once their hit show is over. It's sad that people have to use racial slurs to get attention...

I'm thinking after what Seinfeld said, he's got to say something or look like the idiot he appears to have been. Would you guess he's got a pretty short fuse? Sounded like it. Most people in a club expect to be heckled! Kinda like Mel Gibson's drunk stunt. It's not true that any press is good press!

I agree, because he is being fake, and what is sad is that he ain't sorry for being a racist, he is what he is, he is sorry for embarassing himself, so he is better off stating the fact he don't care for black people but he should apologize to that crowd who had to put up with that language...

I felt sorry for him he was bullied while he was on stage and he fought back with words maybe he should have just punched the guy what did this sob in the audience say to make him do that if Michael would have just hit him it would never have gotten the attention it did

I think that it was odd and I saw little sincerity in his apology. If anything he seemed sorry that it got caught on tape. He's a racist loser and that's all there is too it.
