I know most black people would be very offended to be called ******. If some one calls me honkey, cracker, whitey,or white devil ,I really could'nt care less.

I think that if I was trying to hurt a white person's feelings, I would ask them how things are down at the trailer park and when their cousins are going to marry each other again. I would accuse them of being a racist, a slave master/owner, or a member of some white supremist group. I would also rant about how much they hate black history month, afrocentric holidays, and how their ancestors stole land from the indians. Furthermore, I would stereotype them with television shows like "Leave it to Beaver" and "Father Knows Best".

Asshole. I'm a fairly easy-going person, and if the person in question has upset me to the degree that I feel I need to hurt his feelings I don't need to use his race as fodder for the cannon. Ya dig? At that point, he's given me all the ammo I need. As for the Michael Richards incident, the only person whipped was Kramer himself. You're right; his career is done. If only he'd had the guy put out.....you know, he could have done that.

I'm not sure of their exact feelings, I'm sure it depends on the individual. However its different to them because as a white person you were never degraded in class like they were. I mean if your ancestry was treated with such hate and cruelty and 1 name was followed through the generations you would be offended if people called you that too!

I am with you on this! I look at racial slurs as people being ignorant and stupid and suffering from low self esteem.

White people hold all the power, nothing they can say would ever hurt us.

Black people are just overly sensitive whiny bitches.

that's because white people don't give any of those names meaning. black people give the word ****** meaning. if they didn't, it wouldn't hurt their feelings. the power people give it only perpetuates the negitive connotation of the word. seriously, if they just let it go, the word would die out because it wouldn't have any significance anymore.
