Get yourself a free anti-virus like AOL Active Virus Shield, update it and scan your computer thoroughly:

You should also have an anti-spyware. Get the free SpyBot, update it and scan your system once every week:

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus/such problem . The problem is likely to be solved. Then, you insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

Press shift and numblock key, not at the same time but shift+numblock key, or try shift+scroll lock key. This should turn off the alternate keyboard setting. After you try these two keystrokes, open notepad and see how it types out. If it types out correctly, it should type your password correctly. If you found this info helpful, please be so kind as to rate my answer the best!!
