YES! you should definately use condoms, VCF films or some other type of birthcontrol. It takes up 30 days or more for birth control to work, even if you are just switching brands. I know first hand about this.... I have a beautiful baby boy b/c I didn't use another form of BC while switching pills.. lol

My sister had to change birth control pills. She didn't use any other method during the switch. Needless to say my nephew is a doll. I would use something else too. Good luck

I was always told by my doctor when getting on birth control to use a back up for at least the first week due to the hormones
