It's subliminal. All they ever seems to do (and it's the same with Corrie) is sit in pubs, drink booze, get drunk. If a normal person spent as much time as they did in the boozer, their liver would need its own postcode. So you're hearing 'I'll 'ave a pint, please, Peggy', and you're brain is going 'hmmmmm, beeeeeeeer' in a Homer Simpson way. You could always watch it with the sound down!

That's weird because I have to be physically strapped down and my eyelids forced apart to watch Eastenders. The alcoholic drink is just a bonus.

Becasue you are watching Eastenders and need to drown their sorrows for them since they only get cold tea in their pint pots...
Try NOT watching Eastenders and see if you need a beer... if you do you're an alcoholic and need to go to Alcoholics Anonymous and anonymously tell everyone there who you are...

Because when your drunk it's actually a good show. Without the booze it's a pathetic useless waste of time, with terrible acting and story lines that are borrowed from other soaps. All soaps should be banned!
