I haven't peirced my ears yet because I'm uber uber scared. My cousins are on at me to peirce my ears and they say it doesn't hurt, but then again, some of them did it when they were 5 and now they're much older. So I doubt they'd remember the pain! Is there any?

It hurts a little bit. They use a piercing gun so it is quick. Make sure they give you solution to put on your ear after you get it pieeced. I have 2 ear holes on each ear and like I mentioned it hurts just a little bit in the beginning. but you will have to take care of it so it does not get infected. So make sure you get that solution before you walk out of the store!!

It doesnt hurt but yet that all depends on if you have a high pain tolerance.
I've had several piercings so i should know for example:

I have my nose pierced like a bull (septum)
I have my tongue pierced, lobes pierced, top lip (medusa), i have a piercing called a smiley, i have my nipples pierced

I've had and removed:
tragus piercing, eyebrow, normal nose piercing, bridge piercing and my belly button

I have a high pain tolerance so none of them hurt but other people i know have cried because of the pain... But trust me the ear lobes are no where as painful as other piercings.

No. The piercing in the cartilage harm much less, yet while it got here all the way down to dozing or combing my hair, i could consistently accidently bump it. The cartilage piercing is in the way greater beneficial than the earlobe piercing.

There is not much pain, but as with all piercings you will feel something. I'm sure it will be tolerable for you to handle. I have 26 piercings and if any hurt THAT bad, I wouldn't get them.

If you decide to get your ears pierced please do not have them done at Claire's or some booth in the mall. Have them done by a professional piercer with needles and proper jewelry.

Yes it hurts! They are putting a piece of metal through your ears, it's going to hurt. But it's not like getting a tattoo or anything, if you are willing to go through a bit of pain to get what you want then go for it. Only if it's something you want. You don't want to do anything you will later regret. Although I don't know too many people who regret getting their ears pierced

It hurts as much as someone flicking your earlobe with their finger--not exactly pleasant, but I wouldnt call it painful.

It stings for a spilt second. They use a piercing gun so it's over and done with quite quickly.
