Seriously, does anyone else get tired of how the media beats a story to death...and then continues to beat it until it's nothing but bloody pulp? Do they really help going on and on and on and on about something like what Kramer did? Does this not just anger and incite more hatred? So the guy lost it, big flipping deal...he isn't the only one in the world with racist attitudes? Show me one saint in this flipping world and I'll glady wash thier stinking feet and kiss them too.

Drama is the game media plays, not news, but ratings and entertainment. They feed to the lowest denominater and we all play into their hands. The scummy story gives them instant attention and lets them off the hook for "boring" important issues that they fiqure most of us are too stupid to understand anyway. Unfortionately they are often correct. Too many people these days are just too worn out or too Damned jaded to care about real news. It's considered to be a big success to set the audience at one another's throats. It keeps them tuning in.
I could care less about some comedy act getting out of hand, movie star weddings or adoptions, or what some rock star thinks about politics. These people are not on my list of who's who. Let's hear more about the Secret Santa and folks like him.
Actually, I need facts and fiqures in reports so I can make up my own mind. I tired of being told what's important and what opinions I should have by unqualified pretty kids who split infinitives and dangle participles while they abuse our intellegence.

I think the media is the biggest political influence in the country and I think its influence is not for the good of the country.
