I'm not a big fan of the name - shannon, But for me it is due to a male cousin of mine with the same. Elizabeth is a strong universal and common middle name.

You must either be very Irish or a big fan of hers. Shannon is a solid and beautiful Irish name, and Elizabeth is a little overused. If you're looking to celebrities to name your kids, that's cool...but maybe you should try something a little more personal.

I really like the name Shannon. . .I have a guy friend and girl friend who have the name. The girl spells hers Shannan though and the guy spells his Shannon. Either way, it gets my vote.

Congrats!
