This is hard for me because I had an affair. I had sex with my husband everyday the end of May. Then slept with an ex on June 5th. Took 3 home test all very light but + on June 9th. Took blood test on June 12th +. My husband denies he's the father. I told him about the affair two days before I found out I was pregnant. Im now 27 28 weeks. Help!

If you have a fairly regular schedule you should be able to estimate the day you ovulated. Ovulation occurs 14 days before the start of your period. So, if you know roughly when your period should have started, you can count back 14 days. From that you should be able to make an educated guess as to the father.

Sperm can live for up to 7 days in the woman's body. Your egg can only survive for 24 hours. So, if you ovulated more than 24 hours before you slept with your ex, you can be fairly confident that the baby would be your husbands.

Also, hCG levels are not detectable until 11 days after conception. Since it had been only 7 days since your encounter with your ex, it is highly unlikely that he would be the father.

However, your only guarantee is going to be paternal testing after the baby's birth. Hope that helps. Try to relax. Stress is bad for you and your baby. Best wishes and take care.

If your doctor is telling you 27-28 week because of the ultrasound, its most likely correct. That means that you conceived sometime around May 18-27.
Lol. cutting it close girl...If you are any "less" further along then it could be the June 5th guy. Only a paternity test will tell for sure.
I'm 28 weeks this week, my due date is the 19th of Feb.

It takes 2 weeks just for implantation to happen, so it's more than likely that this is your husbands child, but stranger things have happened, the only way you can know for sure is to get a DNA test after the baby is born.
Good Luck, and why would you not use protection, I mean, don't cheat on your husband in the first place, but to not use any protection? Thats just dumb. Sorry.

It's likely that your husband is the father. Home pregnancy tests usually won't show a positive reading until you're around 4-6 weeks pregnant because the hormones aren't large enough until then. I would ask your doctor his/her opinion about who the father is. Don't be embarassed, it's something they've heard before.

You did now not point out once you had intercourse.. if it became something beforehand than 4 weeks in the past it won't happen on a being pregnant attempt maximum in all probability. 6-7 weeks after intercourse with a destructive result you could flow forward and assume your now not pregnant you will get a favorable result via then. The greenback keep exams are great. they are common to apply and that they are low value. ALL being pregnant exams look to discover one million common ingredient - HCG (the being pregnant hormone you purely get whilst pregnant) it particularly is now not appropriate how plenty you pay for it none or distinctive than the different.. in case you went to the medical institution and that they gave you a blood attempt that examine destructive you could assume your now not pregnant yet once you took a urine attempt their then you ought to be pregnant and the attempt did now not hit upon it yet.

you can only prove it by blood test. try not to stress too much. Maybe you can ask a doctor if on the 5 june it was to early for the blood test to come positive.
wish i could help more. But i can't be 100%. We are just assuming.
Good luck!

the test would not be positive on the 12th if you got pregnant on the 5th. That's only a week and the hormones cant be detected that quickly. You were pregnant before you were with your ex.

You were definitely pregnant before your affair. But I would get a paternity test just to clear the air.

there's no way it could have been from the ex.. because my i got pregnant it was exactly on August 20th, and i started feeling sick september 5th.. but the test came out negative.. then i took a test somewhere around the 13th, and it came out positive.. so i had to pretty much wait until my missed period to find out.. so i don't think that you would have been pregnant that quick.

Ask your doctor when your date of conception was. It's as simple as that. Then get a DNA Test to be certain of who the father is.
