nope use a dish washer and if the electric is off then get someone else to do it.
tip about washing up china dishes, lay a drying cloth in the bottom of the bowl and then add water and plates etc. it stops them getting chipped

No, no gloves. I would rather use paper plates, but my mom wont have that!! Probably because me and my sister in law are the ones stuck doing the dishes...

I never do. We use china that has been in our family for a couple of generations, and I don't want to take any chance at breaking it!
