Squall and Rinoa-Squall was always cold and unfeeling and then Rinoa came along and was always upbeat and caring and energetic. I love how they were complete opposites and seemed to complete eachother. Squall calming Rinoa, Rinoa providing energy and happiness for Squall. And for me it was an emotional roller coaster. I cried when Squall tried to take Rinoa by himself along the railroad track and everything he did for her. Final Fantasy VIII for me, focused so much on Rinoa and Squall's story it felt like I was playing through a love story instead of a fight aganist evil, a sweet love story of two soul-mates destined to be together.

love squal and rinoa.... but tifa and cloud are definitely the best for me.. only those with common sense know that they were meant for each other.. (cloud and aerith dont match cause aerith only fancied cloud cause he looked like zack and that kinda sucks)
plus.. tifa and cloud so looked good together in final fantasy advent children... even though there was no plot whatsoever bout their love for each other.. they still kinda matched....
they didnt even need to be declared as a pair to be known as one.. haha..
it was pretty obvious that squal and rinoa and tidus and yuna would end up with each other so there wasnt really a thrill in their love life wasnt there..

Yuna and Tidus. Why? Their chemistry was audible. Seriously, the idea of Tidus giving his life to save Yuna from having to sacrifice hers is poignant. How could anyone forget the scene where Titus realizes Yuna's pilgrimage ends in death? That was great stuff. Add to that her selfishness to get him back in the sequel, and you have a great pair.

I choose Lenne and Shuyin. They had to be separated in life and even in death. Even though Shuyin had used all means to obtain Vegnagun , all he got in return was a split second reunion with Lenne.
Though he was bitter about it, what Lenne said dissolved his hatred almost immediately: It doesn't matter. As long as I know your feelings, they are good enough (something like that I guess)

squall and rinoa r my best pairs ever,since they just symbolize real love in its most wonderfull faces,they both stand for each other in times of need,and there love for each other empowers them and makes them stronger and overcome there fears,they both face unimaginable terrors,and face there past present and future all at the same time and change there old habbits to stand by each other,i really love them,since they represent the real humans in there struggles and fears the most.my votes goes for squall and rinoa for sure.
