What is wrong with these people and why can't they just keep it together? They have everything going for them! Fame, money, future and sooo many of them throw it all away because they have no self control! Mel Gibson and now Kramer have both gone on racist tyrates. Tom Cruise came out as an outspoken religious freak. Brittney Spears pulled Kevin out of trailer (and away from him pregnant girlfriend) only to get knocked up twice and then divorced. Hugh Grant periodically gets caught driving around drunk with a hooker. George Michael is propositioning men in public restrooms, and don't get me started on Michael Jackson! The rest of us live our lives without even considering doing the outragous things these idiots do....and we don't have NEARLY as much to loose! Why can't they just keep it together, and thank the good lord that they are as lucky as they are?!

I know they are human too. And everybody is allowed some stupid mistakes.....but their stupid mistakes are a little different than the rest of ours! You never see the headline "Madonna had one glass too many and drunk-dialed ex-boyfriend" I have to say it would definatly blip on my radar if I found out that my nextdoor neighbor had a preferance for making internet movies of himself with 14 year old girls....but R. Kelly doesn't seem to think it's a big deal!

The only reason that their mistakes get made public is because they are famous! Michael Jackson did not have everything, think about how you would feel if you had to skip your whole childhood!! Do you consider that lucky? They don't have any privacy, they can't even go to the store for milk without having a dozen or more people hounding them! If every mistake you made was on the cover of every newspaper in the world I'm sure most of us would look like freaks or idiots!!

Actually a lot of normal people do these things too (go off on racist tirades, join cults, get divorced, drive around drunk with hookers - okay perhaps not the Michael Jackson thing, but still) only we don't hear about them as much because they're not famous. I'd bet all these people would probably be going around doing these same things even if they weren't famous. Like the Kramer guy was probably racist before he got famous, and Britney Spears would probably have gotten knocked up and/or divorced with some guy from a trailer. So why don't they change once they get famous? Well, why should they? All those people you mentioned are still rich and famous despite all the stupid things they've done. So why bother to learn self-control?

even though there are non-celebrity people out there who don't do the 'outrageous' stuff that these celebrities have done doesn't mean that there aren't some ho do them. just because they have money and are known all over, everything they do gets blown out of proportion. don't get me wrong, I'm not taking up for them and they should know better because they are public figures that people look up to but they are only human. sometimes no matter how much money a person has it's doesn't make up for the choices that they make it only feeds the choices that hey make by providing them with more means to do what they want. many people have a couple of drinks and think that it is okay to drive and then end up in an accident and/or jail for it. celebrities are just people that are well-known and have a glamorous job. take away that job and the millions that they make and you have a normal person that makes mistakes. it's true that they have a lot to loose but the pressure that some of them are under for other reasons sometimes make them make the wrong choices. when it comes down to it they are only human.

First off, Im sure many of us do worst. The point is they are famous and everything they do doesn't go unnoticed. Would you really care if the guy 3 houses from you was into scientology? Would you give a rats as* if the popular girl inhigh school grew up and married trailer trash? Seriously, the only reason it seems like crazy **** is cause they are famous. Would we have cared that Bill was getting nasty with Monica had he not been our president at the time? Racial slurs, I hear them all the time. Women stealing another womans man, come on that happens everyday. Why is it such a big deal when celebrities do it? Why? Cause when they do it makes them appear human and regular people like me & you don't like it when our favorite celeb appears 'human'...it takes away from their appeal.

pete doherty is the worst one!how many times has he been caught with drugs and he just gets a slap on the wrist if that was any member of the public they would have a prison sentence by now.naomi campbell is another one,she can get away with slapping people,again if that was a member of the public you'd be locked up by now.its outrageous that because these people have money they think they're above the law.

They are human like the rest of us, BUT, they have money, and have grown accustomed to having people bow to them, and have lost any sense of accountability. If a "regular joe" made some of the decisions these people made, they'd be fired, shunned, embarrassed, whatever- but these people are so cocky from years of entitlement that they continue on their merry way.
