We are in the middle of moving into our first home..I did not want to cook..but have to!! I wll be making a bone-in turkey breast, stuffing, candied sweet potatoes (they are wicked good!) corn on the cob and cranberry sauce. My candied sweet potatoes are as follows: preheat oven to 375, peel 4 large sweet potatoes, cut into quarters, and put into a medium baking dish in a single layer. Whisk 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice, 1/2 cup of dark-grade maple syrup, 1 1/2 tsp. of powdered ginger, and salt to taste together in a small bowl until smooth, then pour over sweet potatoes. Scatter 4 tbsp butter cut into small pieces, over potatoes, transfer to oven and bake, basting occasionally w/ syrup in dish, until soft and golden, 1- 1 1/2 hours. Not really what you asked..but I just had to share this recipe!!!

yes & no. Thanksgiving day we are going to a steak & rib restuarant & a "Happy Feet" movie. Saturday after Tennessee football game we are have traditional turkey dinner but I guess I am not cooking then either as I ordered it as a take meal. Take out for 14 from Boston Market. We are going to daughter's house & with 3 children she does not need the work of cooking. My other daughter & her family are coming to with twin 14 month olds.
Besides with a Dollywood Amusement Park trip after morning shopping who has time to cook. haha!

Yes, I always cook the holiday meal. I've been doing for the past 25 years.

We are tired of the traditional. We are going to have a sushi rolling party with a few of our friends. While the rest of the world is having their tryptophan (sp?) nap, we'll be dancing :)

We have gone to the all you can eat buffet place for several years now. It's easier and there is no cleanup.
